I love the shades of brown in my home. It’s a warm rich color and blends so good with other shades and accents in my home. I love to add a little coral or pink like some fabric or candles. It’s like instant brightness and it’s beautiful with the brown artwork. Brown is beautiful with complementary colors such as  red or yellow-whites, dusky pink, lighter blue or sage green. The warmth of brown is associated with reliability, healing and strength. Brown associates with the earth, a calming and resilient element that keeps us quite grounded.

In Japan the color red is regardred as an auspicious colour and associated with happines, strength and joy. This painting always makes me happy, I love the bright color and the pattern of her kimono.

I drew this paining watching a beautiful sunset in Poylnesia, the colours shifted in tones with every inch the sun set further into the coean, merged with the sea.

The lush of life, the lush of green. Sunlight dances in the room. Dreaming of emerald green waters and white sand. The sea glistened in shades of emerald and jade. The life of green, the lush of the woods. When the breezes flows, the green leaves fall, creating emerald showers. Magical mother nature. Emerald green in all nuances deep, pure and clear.

The evening sky casts a dusty pink light across the scene, soft and muted, like a faded filter. The palm trees stand tall in the glow, their edges blurred by the warmth. It’s quiet—the kind of stillness that makes the ordinary feel unreal.

Once on a beautiful autumn day a gorgeous canvas of golden ginkgo leaves carpeted our street. Beautiful yellow golden leaves everywhere. A magical feeling which was captured in this painting.

In Japan the ginkgo's fan-shaped leaf has carried symbolism along with its singular beauty: a symbol of growth, protection, peace, strength and hope, and a symbol of longevity as the tree can live for a thousand years.

“When life gives you lemons…” I love this proverbial phrase. Lemons suggest sourness or difficulty in life while making lemonade out of it is turning them into something positive and desirable.

Dancing in the sea of flowers. The untamed beauty. Flowers everywhere in my hands and my hair. Softly breezes sways across the meadows. Dancing wildflowers here and there.

Love to paint landscapes and flowers ‘en plein air’, outdoors. The sun is going, clouds are moving, animals are flying around… Love the process of observing, listening, the brush strokes, and mixing the colors.

Painting landscapes is a beautiful thing for your eye to travel through. It’s more then just painting the scene, I really want to feel it through painting.

When I paint, I feel it and I get into it.

When I paint a Spring color palette, I think of a spring meadow filled with colorful flowers, bright, and fresh, full of life. Spring colors seems to me; curious, witty, adventurous, confident and eternally optimistic. The clear greens in the trees and fields, flowers blooming every where, and wildflowers along the side of the road. The landscape seems to be painted in watercolors and everything is awash in sunlight, it’s so energizing.

I painted this gingko in a vibrant orange, a color that bursts with positive energy and happiness. The color psychology of orange is optimistic and uplifting, inspiring creativity and rejuvenating our spirit.
