Among fields of chocolate brown wildflowers bloom without fear.
So delicate in their quiet petals,
yet rooted deep like the earth itself.
They bend with wind and weather,
never asking to be seen,
still, soft and steady,
carrying beauty without trying.
And in those warm, earthy chocolate tones lives something timeless and true, a lovely kind of strength,
the kind that quietly survives.

In Asia flowers have a deeper meaning, and the Frangipani flower is considered as an essence from nature that brings enlightenment and kindness. There are so many frangipani trees in our neighborhood here in Bandung.
Every morning, very early, when the air is still fresh, we make a walk, and I love to collect the fallen flowers.
There are some things, that just smell so good: coffee, jasmin, orange blossoms, and frangipani flowers.
This painting is a lovely memory of my love for Java and frangipani flowers.

She sits there, gazing into the distance, her hair blowing softly in the wind. Maybe she's by the sea, maybe somewhere else in nature.
She doesn't think from fear, she simply is. Calm, still, breathing.
A moment in time where nothing needs to be fixed, changed, or rushed. Just the quiet truth of being alive, held in that fragile space between one breath and the next.
A soft pause in the noise of the world, where the heart can rest. A lovely reminder.

I walk home across the rice fields,
these emerald green fields.
Grassy blades whisper,
swaying gently in the breeze.
Let us walk once again
through the quiet charm of the paddy fields,
surrounded by their simple beauty.
Hidden within this cocoon of simplicity,
time seems to slow,
and the world grows still.
Emerald green fields,
stretching endlessly toward the horizon.

Looking at a picture, allowing yourself to be absorbed, is much like reading.
Immersing yourself in a story, diving into another world.
I love getting lost in books. This artwork reminds me to read more.

Dreaming, embracing the quiet of the night, before the day begins.
Following the light, embracing every part of the journey, listening and learning, even when the story unfolds differently.
Trusting the process, free to try again, welcoming the unexpected with an open heart and my feet on the ground.
Stillness reminds me to be present, where my mind and heart exist in harmony, in one loving embrace.

A Spring palette brings to mind a meadow filled with colorful flowers, bright, fresh, and full of life.
Curious and adventurous, clear greens fill the fields, wildflowers line the road, painted softly in watercolors.
A beautiful bay view, everything awash in golden sunlight, bringing the landscape to life with warmth and energy.

This artwork is inspired by Aamer, whose quiet strength has stayed with me. Created from layers of found and weathered paper, it brings together fragments with their own histories and textures.\n\nLike memories gathered over time, these pieces form a larger whole. A reflection on resilience, memory, and the enduring strength found in bringing the fragments of a life together.
