The rich colours of Marrakesh,
deep rose, warm terracotta, and dusky red.

Its magical sunsets,
dreaming of Marrakesh.

Layers of warm colour,
like the sky at dusk,
holding onto the last of the light.

Still life,
a feeling of quietness.

Embracing the softness
of each moment.

A calming still life, gentle and quiet,
just like this moment.

Chalk walls whisper in the southern light,
soft brush strokes shape the quiet stone,
a warm landscape of blush and taupe.\n\nTangerine glows like the sun,
sweet mandarins scent the narrow streets,
orange grains shimmer through the canvas.

In Roussillon, ochre whispers the secrets of nature.\n\nAncient pigments, carrying stories of time, transform into light upon the canvas.\n\nBetween softness and depth, the shapes gently dance in abstract harmony.\n\nA dreamlike journey through the heart of colour.

You're with me wherever I go,
a sensual sway
against my sun-kissed skin.

Chasing the sun
as it rises,
burning bright
in cinnamon and gold.

The horizon calls,
wherever I go,
a reminder of freedom,
light, and endless possibility.

"I think, that giving art as a present is a wonderful way of passing on sentiment, showing that you know a person, that you are thinking of her/him, and giving them something that they’ll cherish." xTiny

Layers of vintage paper,
each holding a story of its own.

A delicate figure emerges,
painted in soft golden light.

Every fold and faded mark
whispers of the past,
quietly revealing her timeless beauty.

I've always loved reusing materials,
treasures inherited from my grandparents,
brushes, ribbons, old paper,
each piece holding its own memory.

For this abstracted landscape,
I layered their antique paper,
mixed with papers found in Canada,
and cut-outs from old paintings,
weaving old worlds into new ones.

Dream away,
in this coral and chocolate landscape,
where every fold and fade,
still whispers of those who came before.

Painted in watery shades of blue ink, this portrait emerges from layers of old paper and fragments of antique book pages.

Her gaze is deep and powerful, yet carries a quiet softness.

The delicate textures and faded words become part of her story, a meeting of memory, strength, and tenderness.

Life is all about connecting,
with what's around us,
nature, family, friends, and strangers.

Sometimes we need no words,
just a look, a gesture,
a smile to feel it within.

Like these layered pieces,
resting close together,
quietly connected, just the same.

This artwork is inspired by Aamer, whose quiet strength has stayed with me. Created from layers of found and weathered paper, it brings together fragments with their own histories and textures.\n\nLike memories gathered over time, these pieces form a larger whole. A reflection on resilience, memory, and the enduring strength found in bringing the fragments of a life together.

It's a beautiful day,
let's bathe
in the warm sunlight.

It's a beautiful day,
follow the love,
follow the light.

A simple line,
drawn in warm terracotta,
holds her quiet shape
against an open horizon.

Spring is here,
the season of new beginnings,
where doors open
and bright colors return.

Made from layered paper
and soft torn textures,
a blush of coral rests.

A small reminder
that beauty often begins
in the simplest of things.

“Nongkrong” – in Indonesian language “relaxing & hanging out with friends”. At the time I was a student in Indonesia. We sat together with friends having coffee and talking. “Nongkrong” is all about the pleasures of sharing time with friends.

Art can make us feel joyful,
or strong and powerful,
or carry us daydreaming,
into another world.

Looking at art can relieve stress,
help you relax,
and spark your imagination.

My artworks are peaceful happy places,
a space for the mind,
to rest and be stil

Capturing the colours of endless shores, where sea and land meet in transparency. The mighty tides shape everything, leaving space for the unexpected.

A free-flowing balance appears, between finished and unfinished, a reminder to embrace fragility, and cherish the beauty of tiny little things.

Shades of nude and pink,
cut from vintage paper,
gathered along forgotten roads.

Fragments of stories,
handwritten memories,
whispering through the layers.

Rolling hills, gentle waves,
and distant horizons emerge,
dreamed into being one piece at a time.

Beauty seemed to live everywhere,
in the light, in the silence,
and in the landscapes that surrounded me.

But the beauty I remember most
was found in the people.

In gentle eyes,
in kindness freely given,
and in smiles that expected nothing in return.

A warmth of spirit,
quiet and sincere,
as if beauty begins within
and softly radiates outward.

The color blue takes on a special significance in summer. Associated with the warm and sunny days of this season, one of the most prominent instances of the color blue is the vast clear sky and the shimmering deep blue hue of the wide ocean. Invite a part of the ocean and the sky inside your home.

This abstract is created in memory of the beautiful serene Kyoto. “Kasshoku” means brown and I love Kyoto with its traditional brown wooden houses and the temple surrounded by cherry blossom trees.
